Power Studies

ProCon has extensive experience conducting Fault Current Analysis, Protective Device Coordination, and Arc Flash Studies. In 2016, we performed 20+ Arc Flash Studies throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. 

The purpose of the Arc Flash Hazard Study is to identify the potential arc flash hazard at electrical equipment within the facility in compliance with NFPA 70 and 70E, conduct calculations based on IEEE 1584 method, and affix Arc Flash Labels throughout the facility in order to apprise qualified persons of the calculated incident energy levels, arc flash boundaries, working distance, minimum required protective clothing and PPE while performing work on equipment while energized.
